What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy covers Skyfer’s treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") that Skyfer gathers when you are accessing Skyfer’s Service. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Skyfer does not own or control, or to individuals that Skyfer does not employ or manage. In addition, the Service contains links to outside sources, both ones we have added ourselves and ones that members have submitted. While we attempt to provide links only to those sites that share our respect for your privacy, we cannot take responsibility for the content or privacy policies of those other sites. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any web sites you visit.

In order to use the mobile features of the Skyfer Service, you must consent to: (a) the use of your phone's location to provide Skyfer Service to you, including the display and disclosure of that location information to others through your geo-tagged messages and content; (b) receive alerts, notifications, and text messages; and (c) pay carrier data, messaging, and other fees resulting from Skyfer usage. Information We Collect
The information we gather from users enables us to personalize and improve our services and to allow our users to set up a user account and profile that can be used to interact with other users through the Service. In connection with the Service, we request and display some personal information to other users and visitors of the Service, which allows users to identify each other. We collect the following types of information from our customers.
User-Provided Information: You provide us information about yourself, such as your name, e-mail address, mobile phone number and carrier, etc., if you register for an account with the Service. When using the Service, you may also provide certain other personal information and content, such as locations and activities, which will be publicly displayed to other Users and on third-party sites and services. To provide the mobile features of the Service, we derive location information from your wireless carrier, certain third-party service providers, or directly from the mobile device that you used to register with Skyfer. This location tracking of your mobile device occurs only when the Skyfer mobile application is actively open and running. We receive and store any information you enter on our Service or provide to us in any other way. The types of Personal Information collected may include your name, user name, address, email address, phone number, IP address, use information and browser information.
Location Information: To provide the Skyfer Service, we collect, maintain, use, and display your personal data and the geographic location of your mobile device, known as "location information".
Status Availability: We collect information about your status availability to provide information to our Skyfer’s users about your project availability to estimate your response time to received message (“skyfe”).
Email Communications: If you have provided us with your email address, if we send you an email we may receive a confirmation when you open an email from Skyfer if your computer supports this type of program. Skyfer uses this confirmation to help us make emails more interesting and helpful and improve our service. If Skyfer asks you for your email address, and if you do not want to receive email or other mail from us, please indicate your preference during the registration process, by making a modification on your account settings page.
Cookies Information: When you visit the Skyfer website, we may send one or more cookies - a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets Skyfer help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through the site. A cookie may also convey anonymous information about how you browse the Service to us. A cookie does not collect personal information about you. Skyfer uses both session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the Service may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled. We strongly recommend that you leave the cookies activated, however, because cookies enable you to take advantage of some of our Service’s most attractive features.
Ads appearing on the Service may be delivered to users by our advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Skyfer and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers or other third-parties.
Log File Information: Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you access a web page. When you register with or view our site, our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.

Individuals reading this information may use or disclose it to other individuals or entities without our control and without your knowledge. Therefore, we urge you to think carefully about including any specific information you may deem private in any postings, location or other content that you disclose on the Service.
The Service allows you to connect with certain third party services (e.g., Twitter, Facebook and other similar services). Additionally, the use of third party applications developed using our Application Programming Interface ("API") are subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of such third party developers. You should be aware that such third party applications may expose user locations in broad and creative ways to everyone on the Internet.
Skyfer may use certain information about you and/or your User Content without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as analyzing how the Service is used, diagnosing service or technical problems, maintaining security, and personalizing content. Skyfer reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor the User Content you post on the site. We reserve the right to remove any such information or material for any reason or no reason, including without limitation if in our sole opinion such information or material violates, or may violate, any applicable law or our Terms of Use Agreement, or to protect or defend our rights or property or those of any third party. Skyfer also reserves the right to remove information upon the request of any third party.
We use cookies, and log file information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the site; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our Service; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and traffic; (e) diagnose or fix technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with certain IP addresses; and (f) help you efficiently access your information after you sign in.

This information is necessary to make sure your invitee knows who has contacted them. To build a community based on trust and empathy, we feel this disclosure is necessary.
Business Transfers: In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. Moreover, if Skyfer, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Skyfer goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, customer information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Skyfer may continue to use your Personal Information as set forth in this policy.

With Your Consent: Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your Personal Information may be shared with third parties, and will be able to prevent the sharing of this information.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information: We may share non-personally identifiable information (such as anonymous usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third parties to help them understand the usage patterns for certain Skyfer services.
Skyfer may allow third-party ad servers or ad networks to serve advertisements on the Skyfer Service. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on Skyfer. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content. Skyfer does not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent. However, please note that if an advertiser asks Skyfer to show an advertisement to a certain audience and you respond to that advertisement, the advertiser or ad-server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they are trying to reach. The Skyfer Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, third-party advertisers. Please consult the respective privacy policies of such advertisers for more information.
How We Protect Your Information
Skyfer endeavors to protect user information to ensure that user account information is kept private. Skyfer uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. Skyfer cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Skyfer and you do so at your own risk. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. Once we receive your transmission of information, Skyfer makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as authorizing your account credentials and/or password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to your email communications from Skyfer, at all times. Because Skyfer accounts are tied to other services such as Twitter and Facebook and use the same username and password protections of those services, your Skyfer account could be affected by a disclosure of your password to these other services. Similarly, should your account at Skyfer be affected by a disclosure of your password, accidental or otherwise, then your accounts at these other services would also be compromised.
The Skyfer Service may contain links to other sites. Skyfer is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When following a link to another site you should read the privacy policy stated on that site. This Privacy Policy only governs information collected on the Skyfer Service.
Compromise of Personal Information
In the event that personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Skyfer will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised, in accordance with the notification procedures set forth in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Your Choices About Your Information
You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Service, in which case Skyfer may not be able to provide certain services to you. You may update or correct your account information and email preferences at any time by logging in to your account. When you update information, however, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records. You can review and correct the information about you that Skyfer keeps on file by contacting us directly at privacy@skyfer.com.
Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, Skyfer does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register to use the Service. If you are under 13, please do not send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 is allowed to provide any personal information to or on Skyfer. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@skyfer.com.
Links to Other Web Sites
We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our website, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our website to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other website, including those that have a link on our website, is subject to that website's own rules and policies. Please read over those rules and policies before proceeding.
Notification Procedures
It is our policy to provide notifications, whether such notifications are required by law or are for marketing or other business related purposes, to you via email notice, written or hard copy notice, or through conspicuous posting of such notice on our website, as determined by Skyfer in its sole discretion. We reserve the right to determine the form and means of providing notifications to you, provided that you may opt out of certain means of notification as described in this Privacy Policy.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
Skyfer may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on our website or blog to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it.
